Today, Marks and Spencer launched its hotly-anticipated Sienna Miller collection. Available to buy online and in stores, the gorgeous collection features trousers, blouses, dresses and sandals – all of which have been designed with the warm summer months in mind, and have the M&S quality shoppers have come to know and love. As a fashion editor, the Marks and Spencer x Sienna Miller collection is one I advise keeping an eye on, as there’s plenty of fashion-forward pieces perfect for summer wedding guests, holidays, and more basic necessities. But with so many bits to choose from, it may be difficult to choose which to go for. With that in mind, I have rounded up my top picks from the new M&S launch, which are catered to suit women of all shapes and sizes. And if none of these are for you, it’s also worth taking a look at the Marks and Spencer summer sale, which has seen hundreds of products slashed by as much as 50% – you can find everything reduced here. It’s intricate trim and panel detail featuring seven different types of lace and ornate embroidery perfectly captures the mood of the ‘70s. If you love vintage clothing, this is a contemporary take on a boho style that will pair perfectly with shorts or linen trousers in the summer months. Back Detail Ombre Slip Dress – £65 This is what can only be described as a summer sunset in a dress. I’m already dreaming of myself wearing it to dinner on a warm evening in Marrakech. It’s been inspired by the washed-out colours of India’s pink city, Jaipur, and the streets of Morocco, so that’s no surprise. Its close, fluid fit will flatter curves, while the ombre design is bound to turn heads no matter where you are – making it a brilliant summer wedding guest choice. It comes in two gorgeous ombre designs. The pink and orange has to be my favourite, but the blue also looks stunning – it will be difficult to choose. Lace Up Detail Shorts – £35 Another boho-inspired piece, these shorts can be paired with virtually any vest or top during the summer months. For a true vintage look, I recommend pairing with a floaty floral blouse and some sandals. Chef’s kiss. Sienna says she designed the classic tailored shorts to be worn on repeat – making them a great investment staple piece. They have a relaxed fit, so won’t cling to you and are comfortable to move in. They’re completed by an eye-catching lace-up back waist detail, which elevates them from a basic style to something a little more special. Leather Western Mules – £65 Despite having only been released this morning, these mules are already selling out quickly, and I’m predicting they’ll be a big hit with the fashion elite. I’ll definitely be buying a pair. The western-inspired contrast-stitch cowboy mules as a cool seasonal alternative to a sandal. Slip them on with jeans or with a vintage lace mini dress. Pure Cotton Printed Quilted Jacket – £65 While a jacket may not be at the top of everyone’s summer wishlist, this one should be. It’s ideal for wearing on chilly evenings over a playsuit or dress, or can equally be thrown on with shorts or jeans and a tee when the British summer weather isn’t playing ball. The lightweight quilted jacket was inspired by Sienna’s many trips to vintage markets. With its retro micro-block print and contrasting trim, this is a statement-making addition to any outfit. Printed Wide Leg Trousers – £39.50 Absolutely no summer wardrobe is complete without a pair of floaty wide-leg trousers, but these take it to the next level. Available in petite, regular and long lengths, the Printed Wide Leg Trousers have been inspired by the iconic silhouettes of the Seventies. Sienna designed these super-soft, lightweight pyjama trousers to be worn day or night. Pair with the coordinating shirt for a maximalist Sienna-approved combination. If you prefer 50s inspired clothing, then head to Fat Face, as the retailer has collaborated with Judes for a goregous retro-inspired collection, which is full of stripes and pastel colours. You can shop everything in the Fat Face x Judes collection here.
