Two BJP workers were stabbed and another was thrashed during an altercation outside a bar in Karnataka’s Mangaluru on Sunday. The police have launched an investigation into the matter and three people have been detained in the case.The incident happened near Boliyar when a victory procession, organised by the BJP rural body to celebrate Narendra Modi’s swearing-in as the Prime Minister of India for a record third term, was taken out. Then, a confrontation happened between the two sides, leading to a fight wherein the BJP supporters were stabbed,” Mangaluru Police Commissioner, Anupam Agarwal, told India Today.Several visuals of the incident show the procession being out on the road and then the altercation.The three BJP supporters have been identified as Harish (41), Nandakumar (24), and Krishna Kumar. While Harish and Nandakumar were stabbed, Krishna Kumar was thrashed in the fight.
