Piers Morgan has announced an “astounding” 90-minute interview with Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey, set to air on tomorrow’s edition of Uncensored on TalkTV. The controversial presenter is stirring up controversy once again, following his previous conversation with Fiona Harvey, who is believed to have inspired the Netflix series Baby Reindeer. The extended discussion between Morgan and Spacey will be broadcast at 8pm tomorrow (June 11), already causing a buzz due to the actor’s troubled past. The Usual Suspects star, aged 64, was accused of sexual misconduct in 2017 but was found not guilty in a 2022 New York lawsuit and was acquitted of sexual assault charges in a separate London trial in 2023. However, he is due to stand trial in the UK again, likely in early 2025, over a lawsuit by another man claiming Spacey sexually assaulted him. Spacey has denied all allegations. It will premiere on our @PiersUncensored YouTube channel at 8pm UK time tomorrow. You won’t want to miss this…” Morgan’s announcement received a mixed response, with many X users highlighting a significant mistake in the post. They argued that Spacey’s Uncensored appearance isn’t his first in-studio interview for seven years, as he recently featured on Lex Fridman’s podcast. For all the latest news, politics, sports, and showbiz from the USA, go to The Mirror US “Didn’t @lexfridman beat you to this by a few days? ” one user questioned. “Technically, that interview was also conducted in a studio.” Another responded: “He did appear on Lex …. so I guess his podcast ‘room’ doesn’t count as a studio.” A third chimed in, “He already told all on the Lex Fridman podcast..” One final thought from a user read: “Fairly sure his interview with @lexfridman was in a studio,” finishing their comment with a shrug emoji. In the end, Spacey divulged last week on Fridman’s podcast about his experiences after allegations led to Netflix ending its association with him, stating that Hollywood does not offer redemption. “I don’t think it’s about the industry. I think it’s about our time,” Spacey shared with the host, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. “I think it’s the time we are in. And people are very afraid. They are literally afraid that they’re going to get cancelled if they stand up for someone who has been.” “We’ve seen this many times in history, this is not the first time it’s happened.”
