A tourist in Sweden said their hotel room window has “everything I could’ve imagined” in a hilarious viral post. Taking to Twitter/X with their view of a “perfectly Swedish” surrounding, the holidaymaker showed a rainbow hitting the backdrop of an IKEA furniture store. The blue skies and empty streets made for a fantastic view which many praised in replies to the picture. User @sirakobama wrote: “Just landed in Sweden and this the view from my hotel room, everything I could’ve imagined.” The post racked up 188,000 likes and left other users in stitches as they proceeded to edit in other classic Swedish cultural exports into the image. ABBA made an appearance on the roof of the IKEA in one hilarious edit. Other users praised the appearance of the rainbow which they say is the “cherry on top”. One wrote: “The rainbow is the cherry on top. You went to paradise my man.” Another user claimed the IKEA in his image used to be the biggest in the world. They wrote: “Kungens kurva, nice. I think that IKEA used to be the biggest one in the world.” The addition of a rainbow delighted other users who claimed it is “what heaven looks like”. Another went along with the joke and said the image was a close likeness to heaven. They added: “This is what I think the pearly gates will look like.” Some found the rainbow over the IKEA hilarious and wrote: “I don’t know why but the rainbow is so f**king funny to me, oh my beautiful magical IKEA.” But there were a few Twitter users less than impressed with the appearance of an IKEA store in the middle of lush green forests and blue skies. One wrote: “Clouds, rainbow, capitalism. Sweet balance between man and nature.”
