EastEnders airs two big moments next week on the BBC soap, with secrets under threat. We may finally find out the real identity of newcomer Maya, following her interest in Walford resident Harvey Monroe. After viewers suspected a revenge plot was on the cards, spoilers once again tease what she wants from Harvey next week. But might we finally find out if she has an ulterior motive after all? Elsewhere, and a character gets closer to the truth about Keanu Taylor’s demise. Linda Carter’s killer secret is at risk, as Sharon Watts has to stop ex Phil Mitchell from working out how he really died – but can they keep him quiet? Here are the biggest moments happening next week on the BBC soap… Maya exposed? EastEnders has dropped more clues about newcomer Maya Houssain amid her friendship with Harvey Monroe. Maya made a debut last month in Walford and soon started an unlikely friendship with cab driver Harvey. The pair bonded over their mutual love of football, and Harvey was delighted to make another friend with similar interests after Rocky Cotton and Mitch Baker’s recent departures. However, their friendship soon fizzled out when Harvey lost Maya’s number and decided to contact her on social media instead. As Harvey bumped into Maya, she shared her upset over the fact he had “stalked” her online. Harvey explained he was simply trying to reach out to her, but Maya accused him of going through her details, adding she was a private person. Harvey managed to win her back round, offering to take her for a drink. As the pair spoke, Harvey told Maya how lonely he had been after some of his pals moved away. But as Harvey asked about Maya’s home life, she confessed the sad news that her husband had passed away a year ago. She claimed she was dealing with it and was doing ok. Later in the episode as Harvey returned with another drink, Maya said she had to go and that her cab driver was waiting for her outside. Harvey suggested if he’d been sober he could have driven her home, but Maya seemed panicked over this before fleeing out the door. Harvey then realised she’d left her hat behind though, and chased after her but the cab drove away. As Harvey went onto Maya’s social media profile to contact her, he was stunned to realise the page no longer existed and had been deleted. In upcoming scenes, Harvey and Maya go to lunch after Maya is stood up by a friend, but the conversation is soon soured when Harvey reveals the truth about his son Aaron’s criminal past when the pair discuss their families. Later in the week, Harvey worries he’s lost Maya as a friend when she doesn’t respond to his text, but elsewhere Maya is looking up details relating to Aaron’s previous criminal history… Linda’s killer secret revealed? Linda Carter could find herself exposed in upcoming scenes as Callum Highway investigates the truth about Keanu Taylor’s murder. Soap watchers will recall that Keanu was stabbed to death on Christmas Day with a meat thermometer by Linda who was trying to protect pal Sharon Watts, as Keanu began strangling her. The Six, including Sharon, Linda, Suki Panesar, Stacey Slater, Kathy Beale and Denise Fox, then covered up the crime and their parts in it. Keanu’s corpse was buried under the floor of the café, while the women told the police that Keanu had fled and was on the run after attacking Nish Panesar. This lie and his true fate was finally exposed earlier this year when his corpse was found at the café with the woman framing evil Dean Wicks for the crime. In upcoming scenes next week, Linda could find herself exposed by an old family friend as Callum’s suspicions are piqued by a comment made by Linda. Later, it’s not just Callum suspicious as the latter tells Phil Mitchell details about his earlier conversation with Sharon. Heading over to Sharon’s, Phil continues to press his ex but she is adamant there is nothing to tell. Realising he may have to resort to a different tactic to learn the truth, Phil heads to The Vic to ask Linda himself, but Sharon stops him in his tracks. Later, Sharon is spooked when she bumps into Callum in the café and he announces that he’s speaking to the detectives, who investigated Keanu’s murder, about the case. It’s not long until Sharon quickly heads to The Vic to see Johnny, Linda and Jack to discuss a way to keep Callum off the scent and feedback what she knows so far. Wanting to help The Six, Jack speaks to Callum and tries to deter him professionally but Johnny isn’t convinced it’s enough and later uses Ben Mitchell’s absence to try and convince him otherwise.
