Pop sensation Olly Murs experienced a bittersweet first Father’s Day, as he sadly wasn’t able to cuddle up with his nine-week-old daughter Madi on Sunday 16 June. The star took to social media to share his feelings, posting an emotional message alongside adorable photos of him and his little one. Olly penned on his social media: “Dear Madi, one day you might be allowed an Instagram account and you will see this but today is a very special day. My first Father’s Day! “. He added: “You’re perfect in every way my little bundle of pooey nappies and I can’t believe you’re already 9 weeks old. Sorry I’ve been on tour and now at the Euros watching England’s first game but I’ll makeup to ya when I get home x big love your dad x”. Fans were quick to respond to Olly’s touching tribute, with one fan wishing: “Happy Fathers day to you, Olly”, reports OK!. Olly and his wife Amelia shared the joyous news of the pregnancy in December, and by April they were introducing their baby girl to the world. The proud parents were pictured leaving the hospital, new-born in tow, in a heart-warming snapshot. In addition to becoming a father, Olly is also embarking on a 41-date tour with Take That, which kicked off on April 13. Despite the seemingly challenging timing, the couple have it all figured out. “Every few days on tour I get a day off, so if it happens, I can get back. We have got some stadium shows over the summer so I think Amelia will be coming along to them with the baby,” Olly told The Sun prior to his daughter’s birth. The former X Factor sensation further expressed his readiness for parenthood: “We are so ready to have children now and ultimately, it all came naturally and it was beautiful. I am hoping we have a baby who will sleep. Everyone has said to me, ‘Just get into a good routine.”
