‘Eid in Kings Heath’ is back this Sunday for a huge celebration of culture, cuisine and community. Thousands of people of all faiths and backgrounds gathered last year, in what was a hugely successful event to commemorate Eid-al-Adha, one of the most significant holidays for Muslims worldwide. Organised by Soul City Arts, led by the renowned artist and curator Mohammed Ali MBE, this year’s event promises to offer an even more exciting line-up of street food, visual art, and music. Local businesses and food vendors from Kings Heath and around Birmingham will be serving mouth-watering options, including savoury snacks and sweet treats.

Times and getting there

The celebration will take place in All Saints Village Square this Sunday, 30 June 2024, from 12-6pm. The postcode is B14 7RA. All Saints Village Square is at the junction of High Street and Vicarage Road, Kings Heath. It is on the main A45, approximately 4 miles from junction 3 of the M42 and 4 miles from Birmingham City Centre. If you are taking the bus, routes 35 and 50 stop on Kings Heath high street. Additional routes, including 11, 27, 76, and 827, stop at Vicarage Road and Addison Road.

Parking
