Jennie Garth hit the gym with her daughter Lola bright and early — earning accolades from Tori Spelling’s brother Randy. The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 52, shared a video on Instagram of her and her daughter Lola — whom she shares with ex-husband Peter Facinelli — working out at 7 a.m.
“Who needs some motivation today? I know I did this morning!” Garth wrote in her caption. “My daughter, Lola, joined me… Do you think she’s still sure I should be working out at 7am? ?” she joked alongside the montage, which showed the duo engaged in exercises, like lunges with dumbbells.
Garth begins the video clad in a “‘90s” shirt — a reference to the upcoming 90s Con Florida, where she’s set to reunite with her 90210 castmates Shannen Doherty, Tori Spelling, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green and Gabrielle Carteris.

As the workout progressed, Garth pulled the hem of her shirt around her head, wearing it like a shoulder shrug to show off a coffee-colored sports bra that matched her workout pants. Lola, 21, however, showed her sports allegiance in a New York Giants T-shirt.
“Jokes aside, I’m so happy I got this workout in,” Garth wrote. “ It’s my favorite way to re-energize during the week?”
Tori Spelling’s brother Randy — who played Ryan Sanders on 90210 — chimed in with his support, writing, “Get it!! ?”
Garth took the time to share her workout knowledge with a fan who commented, “Great work. I have to start running ??♀️, ” advising, “start with just a walk 3x a week. ❤️”

And when a fan commented, “Morning!!!! I’m used up by afternoon!!! You’re making us 50ish ladies look great!!!” Garth replied with some words of support, saying, “age is just a number! We can’t be stopped ???”
While she’s positive about her body image now, the actress has shared that she’s struggled with it in the past. On a recent episode of her podcast, I Choose Me with Jennie Garth, the former What I Like About You star said, “It has been like a roller coaster for me, especially being in the spotlight sometimes and having to look a certain way and having people really critique things that they shouldn’t be critiquing.”
But now, she said, “Every day you wake up is a new day to reset everything, basically.” She continued: “How you want to feel, how you wanna see yourself, how you wanna see others. So a great way for me to do that is in the mornings to just tell myself today is gonna be a great day and tell myself that I love myself, and I’m gonna take great care of you today.”
