They’re jetsetters. Lauren Sánchez, 54, was spotted jet skiing with fiance Jeff Bezos, 60, and Kim Kardashian, 43, during a vacation to Greece on Wednesday. The former entertainment reporter and the billionaire Amazon founder were photographed riding separate jet skis in the Aegean Sea on Wednesday. Celeb vacations to Europe have been all the rage lately, as Jennifer Lopez also recently jetted off to Italy sans Ben Affleck amid divorce rumors.
The couple also spent time partying on the same mega yacht as Kardashian and her friends. A source told Page Six that the couple was living on the billionaire’s “super big boat.” “Lauren has been seen flying a helicopter on and off their support boat, where they keep all their toys . . . helicopters, speed boats and other water toys,” the insider added. A certified helicopter pilot, Sanchez quipped in a November interview with Vogue, “There’s my baby, and it’s not Jeff!” referring to her Bell 429 helicopter. Bezos gushed about his fiancee to the outlet, “Lauren has amazing intuition, almost witchy powers…She sees things that other people don’t see. She’s really very sensitive to other people and what they’re thinking.” Her sister, Elena Sánchez Blair, added: “Since she’s been with Jeff, she is more peaceful and more calm. She appears more herself.”
Kardashian wasn’t their only famous vacation pal. The future spouses also spent time on vacation with Sanchez’s ex-boyfriend, former NFL player Tony Gonzalez, and his wife, TV personality October. The foursome was spotted on a boat together looking relaxed and enjoying the water, as Sanchez sported short denim shorts and a tank top, Daily Mail photos show. Sanchez and Gonzalez, who played in the NFL for 17 seasons, share son Nikko, 23. They reunited earlier in May to celebrate his graduation. Sanchez and her ex’s wife get along well, as October posted an Instagram snap of herself in Feb. 2022, smiling with Sanchez, and captioned it, “When you share kids with your friends.”
Sanchez and Bezos got engaged in 2023 – after first getting together in 2018, when they were both respectively still married to other people: Sanchez to Patrick Whitesell and Bezos to Mackenzie Scott. The fallout was messy, as their affair was revealed by the National Enquirer. Kardashian, meanwhile, has been friends with Sanchez and Bezos for years. They went on a double date in 2022 and attended a Beyoncé concert as a group in 2023. That October, Sánchez attended a birthday celebration for the reality star, which was featured in Season 5 of “The Kardashians.” The following month, Kardashian and Sanchez even made headlines for getting into a bidding war over a Balenciaga dress during an auction. They ultimately called a truce by deciding to “share” the six-figure, custom gown, as Kardashian joked, “You wear it once, I’ll wear it once. It’ll be so cute!”
