NIZAMABAD: Former Pradesh Congress committee president D.Srinivas, 76, passed away on Saturday morning in Hyderabad. He has been suffering from health problems since last few months, He served as united APCC president for two terms. He also served as minister in Marri Chenna Reddy, Nedurumilli Janardhan Reddy, Kotla VijayBhaskar Reddy and YS Rajasekhar Reddy cabinets. Srinivas got elected as MLA for three terms and MLC once. After joining BRS party he was elected as Rajya Sabha member. His elder son Sanjay was Nizamabad mayor and younger son Arvind Dharmapuri is BJP MP from Nizamabad. Last rites will be conducted on Sunday in Nizamabad.
