Justin Timberlake is continuing to allude to his recent DWI arrest on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour. During his Saturday night concert at Boston’s TD Garden, Timberlake addressed the crowd and asked, “So uh, is there anyone here tonight that is driving?” As the audience could be heard laughing in videos of the moment posted to social media, Timberlake quickly followed up by insisting, “I’m just kidding.” He then got serious. “Is there anyone here tonight, that it’s your first time here to the show? Is there anybody here that you’ve been to one, two, three, maybe four of our shows?,” he asked the crowd, according to People. “For all of you that it’s your first time tonight — on a serious note — I hope that you feel the fellowship and the love,” he said, according to People, before speaking to his longtime fans. “For those of you that have been with me through all the weird haircuts … don’t act like y’all didn’t have bad haircuts! I took one for the team. Maybe like three or four for the team, but who’s counting. But it’s been almost three decades together, you guys.” Timberlake was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York on June 18. According to a police statement, the superstar musician was “observed operating a 2025 BMW southbound on Madison Street, failing to stop at a duly posted stop sign and failing to maintain his lane of travel.” A Sag Harbor police officer pulled Timberlake over and “determined that Mr. Timberlake was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition.” He was arraigned and released ahead of his next court date set for July 26. The pop star previously alluded to his legal troubles at his first concert since the arrest, at Chicago’s United Center on June 21. “We’ve been together through ups and downs, lefts and rights. It’s been a tough week, but you’re here and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment right now,” Timberlake said then, according to videos shared on X (formerly Twitter). “I know sometimes I’m hard to love but you keep on loving me and I love you right back,” he added at the Chicago show. “Thank you so much!”
