A popular TV presenter has seemingly ‘earned over £500,000’ for presenting just 99 episodes. Lorraine Kelly’s net worth is said to have reached £4million last year, but she reportedly only appeared in 99 out of 173 episodes of her show since. Assets for her company Albatel include £3.1million cash, according to latest accounts. The TV star was reported to have paid tax £108,000 in 2023 which suggests she may have earned £568,000. Fans of the show have often joked that Lorraine rarely appears on her own programme. Lorraine’s earnings mean that she is one of the best paid women in broadcasting. She is paid more than her ITV colleagues Ruth Langsford and Alison Hammond. Ruth saw her money drop from £3.3million to £1.9million after lessening her TV work. Meanwhile, This Morning presenter Alison’s pot has increased just £6,000 up to £139,000. Lorraine’s earnings being revealed come soon after it was announced that her daughter Rosie is expecting her first child. Rosie is thought to be just days away from welcoming her baby alongside fiancé Steve White. Back in April, Rosie announced her pregnancy on Instagram. She shared a snap of her growing bump, alongside the words: “We could not be more excited – you’re already so loved little one.” Additionally, she uploaded an image of a framed ultrasound at 12 weeks, comparing the baby’s size to that of a fig, with the caption: “The bean at 12 weeks the size of a fig.” It seems that soon-to-be grandmother Lorraine has been hard at work away from the screen as she prepares a nursey for her upcoming granddaughter. The soon to be mum-of-one took to her Instagram stories to share a sneak peek of the nursery at her mum’s house. She posted a snap of a cot mobile which is due to go in the nursery that Lorraine has decorated. Alongside the snap, Rosie wrote: “Mum’s setting up her own nursery at home and this handmade boucle bunny and moon cot mobile from @edieandjoe is so special. I can’t wait to see what else is planned! @lorrainekellysmith.” July saw Rosie showing fans her own nursery at home. Featuring their dog Ruby, Rosie uploaded a snap of their pet pooch sat next to the newborn’s bed, including a cute Loch Ness Monster toy. A pink blanket, tiny clothes, mittens and a matching hat are also seen in Rosie’s picture of the white canvas cot. “This week we hit the 8-month mark,” she wrote in the caption. Rosie said the couple have “started setting up the nursery”. The caption added: “Our @snuzuk SnuzPod4 bedside crib I can’t believe a baby is going to sleep in here next to us (sleep being the key word!). We’re also wondering how long it will take for Ruby to try and sneak in…” Follow Mirror Celebs onTikTok,Snapchat,Instagram,Twitter,Facebook,YouTubeandThreads.
