Josie Gibson has paid an emotional tribute to her son to celebrate his birthday as she shares a rare social media post of her pregnancy. The This Morning host, 39, who gave birth to her only son Reggie in 2018, took to social media to celebrate his birthday, in a rare picture of her clutching her growing bump. Posting a picture of herself while pregnant, this was closely followed by a video clip of her taking to the DJ booth of celebrity stylist Gok Wan. She captioned the post: “2 of my fav people born on 09 September this hero being one of them…. my son being the other.” In the clip with Gok, Josie is seen wearing an elaborate pink sequined jacket as Gok placed a pair of headphones over her head, as she stood over the mixing table. Dancing away, the mum of one appeared in her element as she danced on stage to the house music being played. Despite her new-found fame on the back of winning Big Brother in 2010, it seems as though her son is not used to her celebrity status. Speaking to the Mirror, she said: “He goes, ‘Mum, you always stop and talk to everybody, it’s doing my head in! We are going to be late. We are late for everywhere we’ve got to go to! Obviously it takes me a while to get there, [he goes], ‘Mum, please just don’t stop and talk, I’m sick of the photos’. But, I like talking to people.” She added: “You know you get those kids that love the camera and love their photo being taken? He does say, ‘Mum, take a picture of me like this, or take a picture of me like that’, but he doesn’t really love the camera.” But his love of the camera has allowed her to believe that could be his calling in life. – being a cameraman She continued: “A cameraman definitely. You get your job right as a cameraman, and you can travel the world!” Although Josie has become a fan-favourite among ITV viewers, it seems she is now prepared to throw caution to the wind and jump ship to Channel 5 and host a travel show. Speaking about her new role, she said: “I’ve got loads of things in the pipeline, I’m still very involved with This Morning, I’m very grateful for This Morning and everything they’ve helped me with because they grew me as a presenter.” She added: “I should be around at Christmas on the [This Morning] sofa, so then I will get back on the road and try to make it all work as much as I can.
