Next week, love will be blossoming for two Hollyoaks residents as they gear up to tie the knot. Sienna Blake, played by Anna Passey, and Ethan Williams, portrayed by Matthew James Bailey, are preparing for their big day, with Sienna rehearsing her wedding vows. However, Ethan is found less prepared, waking up in an allotment, until Maxine Minniver, played by Nikki Sanderson, steps in to get him ready. Jez Blake, played by Jeremy Sheffield, is moved when Sienna asks him to walk her down the aisle, but not while wearing dungarees. Meanwhile, Vicky Grant, portrayed by Anya Lawrence, tries to convince Ethan that their past relationship means he shouldn’t be marrying Sienna, making a heartfelt plea for them to give their relationship another chance. At the altar, Ethan delivers emotional vows and breaks down in front of the guests. The atmosphere is joyful as they leave the venue, with John-Paul McQueen, played by James Sutton, catching the bouquet made by Jez. Frankie Osborne, played by Isabelle Smith, advises Vicky to seek counselling and makes her promise not to keep secrets from her again, while Sienna starts behaving strangely. Later, Maxine discovers a Christmas video of Ethan filming Sienna crafting, and a flashback reveals a significant part of their relationship’s missing year, reports the Mirror. Vicky attempts to mend things with Robbie Roscoe, played by Charlie Wernham, but he shows no interest. He reluctantly allows her to sleep on his couch, and as they converse on the city walls, he appears to be softening towards her situation. However, Robbie finds himself in a precarious situation after a dubious deal has unexpected consequences for one local but what is he hiding? In other news from the village, Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed) is getting ready for the arrival of his new baby, but expectant mother Leela Lomax (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) is feeling anxious. The return of Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell) and Abe Fielding’s (Tyler Conti) only adds to her worries, leading to a confrontation between mother and daughter over their relationship. During a dinner, Peri hopes that Abe can win over Leela and Joel. Things seem to be going smoothly. Meanwhile, Grace Black (Tamara Wall) is attempting to secure drugs for Lexie (Marnie Fletcher) and Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe). Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey) stumbles upon her and issues a warning. He’s aware that Mercedes holds something against her, but she pleads with him not to reveal it to Freddie Roscoe (Charlie Clapham). Hollyoaks airs Monday to Wednesday on E4 at 7pm and first look episodes can be streamed Channel 4 from 7am
