Love is in the air for two Hollyoaks residents next week as they prepare to walk down the aisle. It’s Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) and Ethan Williams’ (Matthew James Bailey) big day and the blushing bride is practicing her wedding vows. However, waking up in the allotment, her groom Ethan is less prepared, but Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) whips him into shape. Jez Blake (Jeremy Sheffield) is touched when Sienna asks him to walk her down the aisle – but not in dungarees. Elsewhere Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence) pleads with Ethan that their history means he shouldn’t be getting hitched and makes an impassioned plea to give them another go. At the altar, Ethan makes moving vows and breaks down in front of the guests. It’s all jolly as they exit the venue and John-Paul McQueen (James Sutton) catches the bouquet, made by Jez. Frankie Osborne (Isabelle Smith) suggests to Vicky that she talk to a counsellor and makes her promise not to keep secrets from her again and Sienna is acting oddly. Maxine later finds a Christmas video of Ethan filming Sienna crafting and in a flashback fans of the Channel 4 soap see a part of the missing year revealing a lot about their relationship. Vicky tries to patch things up with Robbie Roscoe (Charlie Wernham) but he’s not interested. He reluctantly lets her sleep on the couch and as they talk on the city walls, he seems to be softening to her predicament. However, Robbie does a dodgy deal with startling results for one resident – but what is he covering up?. Elsewhere in the village, Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed) is preparing for the new baby’s arrival but pregnant Leela Lomax (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) is feeling nervous. Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell) and Abe Fielding’s (Tyler Conti) return adds to her stresses and the mother challenges her daughter over the relationship. Over dinner, Peri hopes Abe can win round Leela and Joel. It seems to be going well. Also, Grace Black (Tamara Wall) is trying to get drugs for Lexie (Marnie Fletcher) and Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe). Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey) catches her and warns her off. He knows that Mercedes has something over her but she begs him not to tell Freddie Roscoe (Charlie Clapham). Hollyoaks airs Monday to Wednesday on E4 at 7pm and first look episodes can be streamed Channel 4 from 7am
