Dr Punam Krishan was seen getting the ‘look of love’ during a recent training for her next Strictly Come Dancing performance – but it wasn’t from her dance partner Gorka Marquez.
The pair were seen making it through to week five of the BBC One dance contest following the public’s support after finding themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard over the weekend.
They were riding high as they headed into week four of the competition following their incredible Bollywood-themed routine with Gorka Marquez as they made history with their couple’s choice routine.

Then on Saturday night (October 12), Punam once again gave it everything she has got and she and Gorka danced to 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) by Lizzo.
Unfortunately, the practising GP and her Spanish dance partner didn’t manage to impress the judges as much as last week after mistakes were spotted, leaving them receiving a total of 20 points out of a possible 40 from the judges.
But, as mentioned already, Punam and Gorka did make it through to another week in the hit dance show and it’s been revealed they’ll perform a Viennese Waltz to She’s Always A Woman To Me by Billy Joel on Saturday night (October 19).
And during a day of rehersals this week, Punam was given a boost thanks to a visit from her Morning Live pal and former Strictly Come Dancing contest Kimberley Walsh. The Girls Aloud star competed in the competition herself back in 2012 where she finished as one of the runners-up with dance partner Pasha Kovalev.
Sharing a picture of Punam and her youngest son, Nate, together on Instagram, Kimberley wrote: “The look of love,” alongside a love heart eyes emoji. “We figured @drpunamkrishan might need a tea break so we called in for cake and cuddles,” she added.
Punam then reshared the post to her Instagram Story and said: “A wee visitor today who brought me cakes to training,” alongside a string of blue heart emojis. She then followed-up the post by sharing a picture of herself and Kimberley sharing a cuddle. “When your pal visits you in the training room,” Punam said.
The practising GP added: “Loved showing @kimberleywalshofficial a sneak peek of our dance this week.” Resharing the post, Kimberley commented: “It’s looking BEAUTIFUL.”
