She may only be nine years old, but Princess Charlotte has already earned a reputation as one of the coolest royals.
The second child and only daughter of the Prince, 42, and Princess of Wales, 42, Charlotte is third in line for the throne and has already won the hearts of royal fans across the country.
With her cheeky yet sassy personality, the young princess has often been seen keeping her brothers in line, playfully cringing at her parents’ public displays of affection, and stylishly coordinating outfits with her most fashionable relatives.
The mischievous royal has also been known to struggle to hide her true feelings in her facial expressions – a trait many a royal fans have also compared to Princess Diana.

In September earlier this year, the Prince and Princess of Wales released an emotional three-minute video revealing the news that Catherine had completed her chemotherapy treatment.
In the clip, the couple were joined by their three children on the beach in their beloved in Norfolk – where the family often stay in their second home, Anmer Hall.
Amongst the touching shots of the family playing and hugging against a gorgeous beach backdrop – royal fans couldn’t help but spot one hilarious moment.
While the family sat at the beach on a picnic blanket, William pecked Kate on the cheek as she lay on the floor with Prince George, 11, and Prince Louis, six.
But Charlotte was far from amused by the show of affection between her parents and was spotted pulling a face of complete embarrassment.
Royal fans joked that the young royal’s face was full of ‘disdain’ while other’s compared her to her late great grandmother, the Queen.

Charlotte undoubtedly became the most popular of her friends when she met Taylor Swift during the singer’s UK leg of her Eras tour.
As the pop princess took over the capital for her Eras tour earlier this summer, the princess, her brother George, and father Prince William, had the chance to not only see the show but sneak a selfie with the pop star.
Joining Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, in a now world famous selfie – Charlotte can be seen beaming with joy alongside Swiftie father and slightly less excited looking brother.
Kitted out in full Swiftie attire, the princess donned a stunning shimmery top for the occasion, with streak of her long blonde tresses woven into adorable plaits.
Charlotte and her father, William, are both considered Swifties in their own right, with the the prince having previously forged a close bond with the singer over their decade-long friendship.
Wimbledon – July 2024

The youngest of the Wales’ children, Prince Louis, is known for his colourful expressions during engagements – some of which had landed him in hot water with his older siblings.
But it was Charlotte – often the most composed of the three – having her share of the dramatics at Wimbledon earlier this year.
The princess joined her mother in the Royal Box to watch Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic in the Grand Slam at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, London.
During the nail-biting game, Charlotte held back nothing as she winced, beamed and cheered during the fight for the title.
Despite her wearing a pair of £90 pink Ray Ban sunglasses, Charlotte’s emotions throughout the game, from her jubilant grins to intrigued glances and awkward shudders, remained crystal clear.
Meanwhile, Kate, 42, held her composed face throughout the game.
Also joining them was Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton, 41, who shared several heartwarming moments with her niece. The pair appear to share a close relationship, as further evidenced by the fact that they appeared to don matching frocks.
Pippa looked effortlessly elegant in a slim-fitting red floral midi dress with ruffled tiers while Charlotte matched her auntie Pippa in a navy-and-white polka dot dress from Guess with ruffled sleeves.
Euros final – July 2024

The princess enjoyed a summer jam-packed with sport this year. After delighting in the drama of Wimbledon’s finale during the day, Charlotte was later attentively seated at home for the Euros final.
In an adorable snap uploaded by Kate, the princess and her youngest brother were pictured in matching England football shirts as they closely watched the nail biting game.
The young royals each had names ‘Charlotte’ and ‘Louis’ alongside their ages, the numbers nine and six respectively, embossed on the back.
The princess has proven herself to be well-rounded in her interests, finding joy in everything from tennis and football to singing along to Taylor Swift.
The photo, taken by the Princess, was posted from the official Kensington Palace account and signed off from William and Princess Kate.
Trooping the Colour – June 2024

Princess Charlotte appeared to take her role as the older sister very seriously at Trooping the Colour in June as she was spotted telling her younger brother Prince Louis off, not once, but twice during the annual celebration.
The six-year-old Prince was stood on the platform in front of thousands of fans and well-wishers with his arms slightly scrunched ahead of the national anthem.
His older sibling then said: ‘Louis put your hands down,’ according to lipreader Juliet Sullivan, before she tapped his shoulder to get his attention.
Louis then scrunched up his face before placing his hands down by his side and standing up straight to prepare for the national anthem.
Earlier in the day, the Prince was once again told off by his sister as she ordered him to ‘stop’ his dancing, whilst standing at a window in the Horse Guards building, so they could watch King Charles inspecting the troops outside.
The sweet sisterly moment led royals fan to liken the young Princess to her great-grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth as they compared it to an occasion when the monarch told off her grandson Prince William in 2016.
A TikTok page even posted a video comparing the two moments with enthusiasts of The Firm saying that Charlotte is the ‘new Queen’ and that she keeps her siblings grounded as the late Queen Elizabeth once did.
Platinum Jubilee – June 2022

Princess Charlotte also took charge of her two brothers during the celebrations for the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee two years ago.
The royal was stood on the Buckingham Palace balcony with her parents the Prince and Princess of Wales and siblings Prince Louis and Prince George.
However, she noticed that her older brother, who is second in line to the throne, had his arms up on the ledge rather than by his side and appeared to be fidgeting.
But younger sister Charlotte was having none of it, appearing to give George an ear full.
Obliging to the demands of his sister, George quickly reshuffled his stance, placing his arms down by his side before standing up straight as the national anthem played.
After Charlotte had a word with George, the late Queen then appeared to turn to him and also say something about him putting his arms down.
The princess appeared to have a double job on her hands during the engagement as she was later spotted telling off her youngest brother, Louis.
The youngest of the Prince and Princess of Wales’ children was absent mindedly sucking his fingers when his older sister – just seven at the time – intervened.
She then appears to brandish her fist at her younger brother, perhaps warning him against sucking his fingers again.
At this point, their mother, who was known as the Duchess of Cambridge at the time, swooped in and whispered something to Charlotte.
Carriage ride for the late Queen’s Birthday Parade – June 2022

And it’s not the first time the young royal has been seen keeping her brothers in line during engagements.
During the four-day celebration of the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Charlotte, Louis, George, their mother Kate and Camilla rode in a carriage down the Mall, ahead of the Trooping the Colour.
As they family sauntered down the road together, both Charlotte and Louis were spotted eagerly waving at fans.
But the youngest of the Wales’ children seemed to get a little carried away at one point and ended up giving his signature ‘window wiper’ wave.
A peeved looking Charlotte was quite to respond to her brother’s mischief, pushing his hand down as she appeared to tell him off.
But his sister doesn’t always have control over her disobedient sibling as unbothered by the stern words, Louis almost immediately began waving at the assembled crowds once more.

The mother and daughter were attending to a sailing regatta in Cowes in the Isle of Wight when the young Charlotte pulled the most unroyal of faces.
As Kate appeared to encourage her daughter to wave at the crowds below, Charlotte had a different plan in mind.
Rather than offering a royal wave, the princess mischievously stuck her tongue out.
Meanwhile, Kate couldn’t help but chuckle at the sweet moment and was later commended for her elegant handling of the unexpected response from her daughter.
