According to the spoiler the judges were completely split over who to save, with head judge Shirley Ballas deciding the fate of the axed celeb.
The results show is filmed straight after the live show on Saturday night, but isn’t broadcast until Sunday night. It means people in the audience know who has left and can leak the result ahead of the results show.
While BirminghamLive has chosen to not reveal the names of the celebs in the dance-off, or who was sent home, to keep the surprise for viewers tuning in on Sunday, the leaderboard after the latest week revealed who might be at risk.
JB Gill and Lauren Oakley, who is stepping in for Amy Dowden, and Tasha Ghouri and Aljaž Škorjanec, held their position at the top of the leaderboard for the second week running. They both were scored 37 points out of 40 by the judges.
Meanwhile, Pete Wicks made a dramatic comeback having come last last week, scoring a paltry 22. He said he doubted that he “deserved” to be in the competition but this week scored 36 points after an emotional dance dedicated to his late nan.
The former TOWIE star tied with Montell Douglas, who also made a strong comeback with her Paso Doble to “Lola’s Theme” by The Shapeshifters after ending up in the dance-off last week.
Two stars were joint bottom of the Strictly leaderboard following Saturday night’s live show. Shayne Ward and Nacy Xu and Jamie Borthwick and Michelle Tsiakkas oth scored 30 points, putting them at risk of leaving before the stars head to Blackpool next week.
Strictly Come Dancing’s results show airs at 7.20pm on Sunday, November 10.
