I want to go all rah rah kill as many russians as possible… but Putin doesn’t care… no one will remember in a few months except the families and friends of the dead and Trump will make them give up huge portions of their country.

Surving is the most important thing and while it’s almost certain they will lose territory they remain a independent country.
/and Russia even if they “win” has been so weakened they will not be in any shape to do much of anything. Putin’s dream of conquest has already died.

This is the reason Russian’s want Kursk back so badly. They want a ceasefire that freezes the current lines in places in exchange for sanctions relief, allowing them to essentially make their land grab permanent. But they also don’t want to leave Ukraine in charge of a chunk of Russia as part of that deal.

Who are we kidding, if Trump is involved they’ll freeze the current Russian lines (at best!) but the Ukrainians will have to pull out.
