With just two sleeps to go until Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour comes to Ireland, Ticketmaster has issued an important update to fans on ticket availability

The superstar is set to perform three sold-out concerts in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on Friday, June 28, Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30. Tens of thousands of Swifties are expected to descend on the capital this weekend for what promises to be an epic concert, full of remarkable costumes, impressive stage effects and, most importantly, Taylor Swift’s impressive catalogue of songs.

The record-breaking tour is a tribute to the albums she has released throughout her 18-year career, and brings attendees on a journey through all of her ‘musical eras’. Lasting almost three-and-a-half hours, the show covers all styles of music from her 11 studio albums – ranging from country and pop to folk and alternative rock.

Ahead of the shows, Ticketmaster has confirmed when ticket transfer and official resale will open. In a message to concertgoers this afternoon – as seen by the Irish Mirror – the company confirmed that the ticket transfer options is currently unavailable – but will be activated no later than 48 hours before the event. This means that for anyone heading to the Friday show, ticket transfer will be available at 6pm on Wednesday – at the very latest.

Ticketmaster’s transfer feature allows ticket holders to easily send tickets to friends and family, ensuring that everyone in the group can gain entry to the event without needing to meet up beforehand. This is also useful for those who bought tickets on behalf of others. Once tickets are transferred, the recipient can access their ticket directly from the Ticketmaster app.
