Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s second pre-wedding bash onboard a luxury cruise is still making headlines. Although several photos and videos surfaced online, we weren’t sure if they were from Ambanis’ party. However, now, Radhika, in an interview with Vogue, has revealed everything that happened during the four-days celebrations along with several photos. The bride-to-be shared details of each day of her second pre-wedding bash, right from the starry-night on day 1 to a beautiful evening at Portofino on the final day. Radhika said, “It was a retreat for the people that have contributed to our life in different ways.” As many of Radhika and Anant’s family members living in various parts of the world couldn’t attend the Jamnagar celebrations due to the distance, the couple zeroed in on Europe as the location for their second celebration. The photos that Radhika Merchant shared with Vogue from the celebrations featured Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Manish Malhotra, Karan Johar, Puneet Malhotra, Orry, and Janhvi Kapoor along with her rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya. Radhika, in her interview, opened up about all the outfits that she wore for various activities that were planned during the four-day celebrations. Printed on the chiffon was a love letter that Anant wrote to her when she was 22. On this day, the couple witnessed a surprise concert by the Backstreet Boys. After spending the next day in Rome, the Ambanis held a toga party back on deck. For this, Radhika wore a custom toga designed by emerging New York-based designed Grace Ling. It featured an aerospace aluminum breastplate. On the third day of the cruise, the Ambanis along with 1200 guests docked in Cannes for a masquerade ball at Chateau de la Croix des Gardes. Radhika chose a custom Versace dress with blue shades to match the colour of the Cote d’ Azur water. In the evening, the Ambanis had Katy Perry perform for them. The final night of celebrations took place in Portofino. For this, the Ambanis took over the main square and transformed it into an open-air market complete with food stalls. For the occasion, Radhika wore a rare piece of fashion history – an archival Yves Saint Laurent for Dior dress. At night, legendary Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli performed for the guests of the Ambanis. Radhika Merchant also revealed that the celebrations will be followed by multiple pujas as well as a traditional sangeet ceremony over the next few weeks. Radhika and Anant Ambami are all set to tie the knot on July 12, 2024, in Mumbai.
