Matilda’s forward, Mary Fowler, has shared intimate moments on Instagram from a recent getaway with her footy star boyfriend, Nathan Cleary. Beginning their relationship in a haze of smoke and mirrors, the loved-up pair have begun flaunting their feelings as much as their enviable physiques on the platform.
In a series of images posted to Fowler’s feed, the couple was seen frolicking in a natural rock pool enveloped by an endless forest.
Fowler captioned the post with three love hearts — signifying her comfort and happiness in the company of her Penrith Panthers boyfriend.
One image depicted a liberal Fowler posing in a khaki bikini, arms in the air, and a towel over her shoulder.
Another framed the cheeky couple pulling faces at the camera as they dried off following a dip in the rock pool, while the final pic showed the striker gazing into the distance from a remote building.
Fowler’s Matildas teammate Courtney Nevin responded to the series of candid images, commenting, “That signature smile.”
“It’s like we’re reading a love story but in pictures,” one fan said.
The couple recently spent time away in NSW’s Blue Mountains, and these images are likely the result of their high-altitude adventure.
The Cairns product is set to represent Australia at the Paris Games in what will be her second Olympics. She made her international football debut as a 15-year-old against Brazil in 2018.
