Burgers are being handed our for free in Birmingham city centre ahead of England’s 8pm game against Slovenia. Food company Beyond Meat will be offering plant-based burgers at their food truck in Rotunda Square, perfect for vegans, vegetarians and burger-lovers alike. You can get your hands on the burgers between 11am – 3pm and 4pm – 7.30pm on Tuesday, June 25. Read more: I tried a vintage cafe in Birmingham with a £4 breakfast Two varieties will be available: the Beyond Burger Jalapeño, served in a burger bun with plant-based peri peri mayo and shredded iceberg lettuce, and the original Beyond Burger, which includes plant-based peri peri mayo, tomato and lettuce. If you are looking for a good spot to catch the game after picking up a free burger, you could head to the nearby Digbeth Fan Park set up at the Old Crown Pub. The park is only a ten minute walk from Rotunda Square, where the game will be broadcast on a massive outdoor screen, ideal for watching the match in the warm weather this week.
