Beloved musician and former Australian Idol contestant Courtney Murphy has returned to work following his advanced bowel cancer diagnosis. The 44-year-old — who is one-third of Perth band The Murphy Brothers — is set to release a new song with his siblings Chris and Kieran just three months after he shared his devastating battle with the disease. The song is called Perfect Little Mess and is the first single from their upcoming album Something in the Water. The song will feature Robbie McIntosh — a former guitarist for The Pretenders who went on to tour with Paul McCartney and John Mayer — and will be available on all streaming platforms on July 3.
