Two Northern Ireland sisters have launched a new clothing range dedicated to women of all shapes and sizes. Hailing from Bangor, Kelsey and Michelle Tracey started ‘KIJN’, born out of a person journey and desire to “bridge the gap in the fashion market for real, diverse bodies”. The story of KIJN began when Kelsey and her sister Michelle realised that despite sharing a love for the same styles, finding clothes that fit both their body types was a constant struggle. Kelsey, a petite size 6, and Michelle, a plus-size 22, said they found that many brands simply didn’t offer inclusive sizing.

This gap in the market, coupled with Michelle’s health struggles, inspired Kelsey to create a brand that offers connection, care, and comfort to women everywhere. Speaking about their journey so far, Kelsey said: “KIJN was created for women like us – real women who deserve to feel stylish and comfortable, no matter their size. “We wanted to build a community where every woman feels seen, supported, and celebrated. KIJN is all about kinship. We welcome women to join our community and embrace their individuality. Northern Ireland is home to some amazing brands, but many focus solely on aesthetic appeal. KIJN is different.
