LEAKED’ images appear to show a new Rangers fourth strip commemorating the club’s 125th anniversary at Ibrox.
The Gers have played at the current site of Ibrox park since 1899 and are back there this season after a lockout early in the campaign due to a delay in building work.
They’re clearly massively proud of their home ground – with SkySports airing a special show marking the club’s 125th year anniversary at the venue only this week.
And now images widely shared on social media appear to show a new commemorative third strip designed by Castore with a different badge with a different badge.
The Ibrox side have regularly released a fourth strip in recent seasons.
Last year’s version had red and blue chevrons, while back in 2022-23 there was a black kit with blue and red pinstripes.
There was an all white strip to honour the ‘gallant pioneers’ who founded the club on the club’s 150th anniversary a year previously.
And back in 20-21 there was a classic Rangers strip with white collar and an old school badge.
With the club’s current deal with Castore ending in the summer, it remains unclear whether they will move forward with a different kit supplier next season.
Fans were divided on the design, with some saying it looks like an Everton or Southampton – and the badge is like Greenock Morton.
For all the affection for the Ibrox connection, others are simply unsure about buying it while the club are struggling in the Scottish Premiership.
One fan wrote: “If this is legit then it’ll be the nicest kit we’ve released in years. The badge makes it a 10/10.”
A second said: “Is that a Everton kit?”
A third wrote: “Is that St Johnstone’s double year strip? A thing of beauty.”
A third wrote: “badge looks like Greenock Morton.”
A fourth said: “Been dragging my heels on buying new kits (my 18/19 Hummel top is thriving) but this is a beaut.”
A fifth said: “Looks like an Everton top, it’s a no from me.”
A sixth wrote simply: “We still shouldn’t buy it.”
