BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Next month, a benefit concert night at Samford University’s Wright Center will feature a singer-songwriter duo from Nashville. “With Gratitude: An Evening with Ellie and Drew Holcomb” is planned for Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. All of the night’s proceeds will go towards Portraits of Hope, which supports women and their children in the aftermath of incarceration, drug addiction and domestic violence. Tickets can be purchased here. Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors’ most recent album, “Strangers No More,” was released earlier this year to critical acclaim, earning a number-one Americana single for “Find Your People.” Ellie joined the Neighbors on tour following their marriage in 2006 and has since found award-winning success as a solo Christian singer-songwriter Her newest album, “All My Days,” is described as “a beautiful collection of Psalms.” The duo performed at multiple spots throughout Alabama earlier this year.
