The couple, who tied the knot in 2015, welcomed daughter Blake in September 2022 after Brian’s sister Aoife acted as their surrogate. Aoife is once again carrying their child and baby number two is due to be born on July 4. The pair, along with Aoife and Blake, hosted a baby shower over the weekend with a heavenly all-white theme, and the whole family joined in on the fun by sporting matching outfits. Brian opted for a blazer, t-shirt and slacks combination, while Arthur sported a chort-sleeved shirt and matching pants. But it was baby Blake who stole the show in her angelic white dress with lace shoulder details and a pair of sandals with adorable bows. Sharing a series of photos from their big day on Instagram, Brian wrote: “Baby Dowling Gourounlian Number 2, let’s go & CELEBRATE you & your imminent arrival. It’s Baby Shower Time @gourounlian. Our theme is white, so what could possibly go wrong? “I’m also wearing the exact same fabulous Espadrilles I wore to Blake’s shower in 2022 & we all know how that ended. We can’t wait to CELEBRATE with all our family and friends!” They also expressed their thanks and admiration for Brian’s sister Aoife, who showed off her baby bump at the party, which took place in Dublin’s Point Square. “We @gourounlian felt all the LOVE & SUPPORT today as we celebrated our pending baby’s arrival. This was also a day where we all got to CELEBRATE you @effidydowling in all your glory,” Brian wrote. “We are all in awe of you Aoife. Your love, your strength, your courage. You are 1 IN A MILLION. We LOVE YOU.” Brian revealed their second child’s due date when accepting a gong for Ireland’s Most Stylish Man at this year’s Platinum VIP Style Awards, gushing: “Arthur and I are technically pregnant with our second child, so I’m going to dedicate this award to our second child who’s due on Independence Day, July 4th!” Speaking to the Sunday World about expanding their family, Brian admitted that his sister Aoife kept her pregnancy private as she got a “bit of a hard time” from online trolls before. “We obviously went through a lot of it the last time, as in the negativity and the trolling, so this time Aoife made a conscious decision herself not to be so obvious on Instagram because she got a bit of a hard time and we got a bit of a hard time,” he explained. “So, this time Aoife said to us, ‘listen, I’d rather if I just stepped back a little bit,’ and we obviously have to respect that. She’s doing great, just really tired. She’s not been sick, which is amazing. “The bump is so different. The pregnancy is so different. Blake moved around so much but this baby is a little shyer.”
