ANITA Rani left Countryfile viewers scratching their heads after she appeared to don THREE coats all at once during the programme. The TV presenter headed out to Angelsey for this week’s edition of the programme to front a segment on hedgehog reserves. However, it became very apparent quite quickly that most people were paying less attention to what Anita was saying and more to what she was wearing. During the segments, Anita delivered important information on how best to care for a hedgehog and recommended that poorly hedgehogs were placed in a warm box with a hot water bottle. But the information went in one ear and out the other for some viewers who were left dumbfounded by Anita’s fashion choices. The star appeared to be more than layered up as she wore a multitude of coats and jackets for filming. At first, she appeared to be tightly wrapped up in an orange coloured waterproof coat that sat comfortable atop a completely fastened-up denim jacket. In addition, she could be seen with a huge woollen scarf adoring her neck that was tucked down the front of the denim jacket. However, in a further shocking twist, during a later segment, Anita slightly unbuttoned the bottom of the denim jacket to reveal ANOTHER coat hidden away. Antia was also rocking a huge black puffer coat with a second orange hoodie also visible poking out from underneath. Her baffling coat decision certainly did not go amiss online as fans were left scrambling as to why Anita appeared to be wearing at least four layers at once despite summer having only just begun to draw to a close. Writing on X, formerly Twitter, one telly viewer said: “What is the #Countryfile presenter wearing? “I actually love it but nothing matches haha!” Another questioned: “I actually can’t decide how many coats she’s wearing. Is it three? Or two?” Someone else penned: “Who the hell dressed Anita?” But Anita wasn’t the only one facing criticism as other fans blasted the show for acting like a children’s programme. Raging online, one unhappy viewer said: “Why have you dumbed down Countryfile, with the presenters talking to us like children? Surely the kids have their own countryside programmes!” “Remember when #Countryfile was interesting?,” said someone else.
