The hit series followed the farm, in the village of Wincle, near Macclesfield in Cheshire, in the midst of the busy lambing season and as the family looked after an injured ewe. Due to it being a private working farm, the Fletchers’ farm is only open to the public on select days and occasions. Kelvin and Liz have hosted open days in the past, for Christmas and the Spring lambing season. Now, the family have announced their new special event “Farm with the Fletchers” on Saturday, June 29. The event is open to adults priced at £95, while children aged 7 and over can also take part, with tickets priced at £60. Writing on the Fletchersonthefarm Instagram page, the couple said: “Come and Farm with the Fletchers! So many of you ask us if it’s ever possible to ‘be a farmer for the day’, well now you can!”Spaces are limited but come and join us and muck in! You’ll be rolling your sleeves up and doing all the jobs required to run a family farm. “From mucking out to electric fencing, and sheep handling to tractor driving, you’ll get a unique and hands-on experience whilst discovering new skills, learning and understanding more about farming. And, of course, having lots of fun!” Lunch and light refreshments are included in the ticket price, with tickets only available for “limited numbers”. Bookings are now live on their “Farm with the Fletchers” eventbrite page here. Following the success of Fletchers’ Family Farm, it has been announced that the show will be returning to screens later this year with a second series. Due to screen in the winter, the show will follow the Fletchers’ on their continued farming journey. ITV said that the new 10-part series will feature more adventures as the family extend their livestock, as Kelvin welcomes a herd of pregnant cows to the farm and as they tackle an emotionally charged lambing season. Kelvin said of the news last month: “We’re incredibly excited to return to filming for the second series of Fletchers’ Family Farm. The response from our viewers has been truly heartwarming and inspiring!” Liz added: “It’s a genuine honour to invite the viewers back to our farm as we continue on this journey.” The previous series of Fletcher’s Family Farm can be watched on ITVX.
