A BRITISH tourist was sexually assaulted and robbed by two men and a woman who pretended to offer her help in Madrid. Cops are hunting the trio who approached the 39-year-old holidaymaker as she left a nightclub. They reportedly saw her “disorientated and under the effects of alcohol” in a central Madrid square. Posing as Good Samaritans, they allegedly led her to a bench and stole all her belongings including cash, jewellery and her mobile phone. One of the male thieves fled the scene along with his female accomplice. The second is said to have stayed and sexually assaulted the women on the bench before also running off when he was realised he had been spotted by a witness. They have been described locally as a Spanish woman and two men of African origin. The holidaymaker was taken to hospital for medical tests after locals raised the alarm. Police are set to interview the woman later today and sift through footage from CCTV cameras in the area for clues. The incident happened at around 3am on Thursday morning. The ongoing investigation is being led by a specialist women’s assistance unit of the National Police called UFAM. There have been no reports so far of any arrests.
