Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer posted a picture from the first of her three nights in London with his little-seen wife Victoria, who attended along with their two teenage children. And he could not resist talking about it to schoolchildren during an election visit in Kettering this morning. ‘It was fantastic. I went with my wife and my children and I learned something there,’ he said. ‘I learned that my 13-and-a-half year old daughter knows every single word of every single song of every single album of Taylor Swift and she sang them all throughout the entire three hours we were there.’ ‘It was fantastic I have to say it was a great concert.’ Meanwhile, Rishi Sunak is believed to have attended a concert in Los Angeles as the singer completed the first US leg of her record-breaking ‘Eras’ tour last year. The Labour manifesto, entitled Change, shares its name with a song from Swift’s 2008 album Fearless, and Sir Keir has claimed it is his favourite song. Meanwhile, London Mayor Sadiq Khan – also a self-confessed Swiftie – issued a new Taylor Swift-themed tube map for London with lines named after her albums and stations named after her songs. TfL released the reimagined map to mark the pop megastars arrival in the capital city for her sold out Eras Tour. Each tube line on the map has been named after one of Swift’s 11 albums and is represented by rows of gems in coordinating colours.
