The Los Angeles Lakers released video of general manager Rob Pelinka’s draft-night phone call to Bronny James, telling him that he would be heading to L.A. as the No. 55 overall pick in the NBA draft, joining his father, Lakers superstar LeBron James. Pelinka raved to James about his work ethic and character as reasons for the choice before revealing that he would be the pick.
