The Al Bataeh team achieved a historic victory over its host Al Ain, with a score of 2-0, today, in a postponed match from the 25th round of the ADNOC Professional Football League. Al-Raqi scored the first goal through Cameroonian Anatoly Bertrand in the 32nd minute with a header that Al-Ain goalkeeper Mohamed Bousinda contented himself with watching as it settled in his net. Al Ain players struggled to avoid loss, but their attempts failed to reach a happy ending, while the visitors threw their weight offensively and strengthened the score with a second goal by Ahmed Khalil from a free ball in the 89th minute. Al Bataeh raised his score to 37 points, and advanced to seventh place in the league standings, while the players froze. The “Leader” points at 45 in third place. The referee, Rawda Al Mansouri, who managed the match, made history by announcing the first red card in the history of her management of men’s football matches, as the red card went to Al Ain player Haliro Sarki in the 71st minute, after returning to video technology.
