After reading in the Sunday, May 19, Plain Dealer, the four-page “Delinquent” series on youth in the Cuyahoga County juvenile justice system (”The bindover waiting game has consequences for John”), and noting the article in the same edition on a never-used $1 million jail program (”An autopsy of government dysfunction: How Cuyahoga County wasted more than $1M on a service that was never installed”), I made a connection: That $1 million would have provided mental health services to those kids mentioned in the “Delinquent” series, and how many more? Cuyahoga County officials and judges: Get your heads out of your behinds. You are delinquent. Casey Nichols, Madison
